1. ATLAS New Drinking Menu – Sense of Place

Since its official opening in March 2017, ATLAS has been ranked annually in the World’s 50 Best Bar Listings. Today, they are introducing a new drinking menu – Sense of Place by ATLAS. Developed by Head Bartender Jesse Vida and the ATLAS team, the new menu explores the lively spirit and energy of European Art Deco architecture, as well as shared connections between past and present. Look forward to a menu of cocktails featuring innovative techniques, curious ingredients and many unexpected, yet delicious flavour combinations.

‘Sense of Place’ is divided into seven chapters, each with a whimsical illustration of an European Art Deco landmark, beautifully displaying the unique and ornate traits of each building. Head over and explore the different chapters with your sense of sight and taste.

2. Surrey Hills Grocer Launches in Singapore

Surrey Hills Grocer, Singapore’s latest gourmet grocer, lifestyle and dining destination brings the best of Australian produce, products, cuisines and experiences to local consumers. Quaintly nestled at the D’Arena, Surrey Hills Grocer is also the first grocer in Singapore to offer a direct-to-boot service for a seamless and contactless shopping experience.

A majority of Surrey Hills Grocer products are Australian-made and -grown, with many of them being made available in Singapore for the first time. Some noteworthy exclusive brands include Rich Glen Olive Oil, Stonebarn Truffle, and Koko Black, an iconic premium Australian chocolate. Surrey Hills Grocer’s products and produce are shipped directly from farmers, growers and brands to the store. Apart from its Chilled & Fresh Produce section and Grocery Area, Surrey Hills Grocer also has a dedicated Winery featuring the best wines sourced from Australian vineyards.

A favourite spot at the grocer would be the Surrey Hills Café, an alfresco dining concept that pays homage to the authentic Australian brunch culture. The menu was designed in collaboration with an Australian Michelin-starred chef based in Singapore, who brought in his locality knowledge and special touch to the cuisines.

3. Baker X Welcomes

New Home-Based Baker Mon Cerise Patisserie

Mon Cerise Patisserie by Founder and Baker Cherry Chiu will run Baker X from 8 to 20 February 2022, presenting a collection of beautiful French-style tarts and individual cakes. These delectable creations are hand-crafted with a curated selection of the finest French ingredients, while following healthier and lighter recipes for ‘guilt-free indulgence’.

Savour their irresistible Les Petite Tart (S$4.50 each, S$27 for a box of 6 of all 6 flavours, S$35.50 for a box of 8 of all 6 flavours & 2 flavours of choice) in classic favourites like Lemon & Basil, Chocolate, Chestnut Mandarin, Blueberry Lemon Cheesecake, Apple, and Golden Rocher.

On Saturdays & Sundays only, Mon Cerise Patisserie will also offer the Taste of Mon Cerise individual-sized cakes and tart (S$10 each except the Chocolate & Hazelnut Tart available at $11.50) such as the Strawberry Charlotte and Coco Loco, a compelling combination of coconut, lemon, and mint. Customers can look forward to their new packaging that will be introduced at Baker X just in time for Valentine’s Day – perfect for gifting toothsome bakes to loved ones.

4. Délifrance Singapore Launches Héritage Range

This February, Délifrance Singapore invites you to savour its new Héritage range of pastries & viennoiseries.

Rediscovering Délifrance’s roots by combining the essence of French baking with traditional techniques and exceptional quality ingredients including French flour from Grands Moulins de Paris est 1919 for the viennoiserie, fine natural French butter and free-range eggs, the result is a newly refined Butter Croissant (S$3.60), Pain Au Chocolat (S$3.80) and Kouign Amann (S$4.00) for an authentic taste of France.

While you’re in stores, do also get a serving of the all-time favourite sandwich croissant and marvel at how the new butter croissant elevates the entire experience with its crispiness, flakiness and rich butter.

5. New Homegrown Plant-based Brand – HAPPIEE!

Growthwell Foods, a leading manufacturer of plant-based alternatives for meat and seafood has launched HAPPIEE!. With a motto of “Eat Good, Feel Good,”, this plant-based range aims to spread positivity to the world and inspire consumers to pick up active lifestyles. Singapore Art Museum (SAM) has launched a new art destination in Tanjong Pagar Distripark, with an opening salvo of four exciting exhibitions by local artists including experimental band The Observatory and SAM’s pilot Residents, as well as international artists like Korakrit Arunanondchai and Gan Siong King. Featuring expansive, versatile spaces, SAM at Tanjong Pagar Distripark will bring fresh encounters with contemporary art through immersive, multidisciplinary installations by local and regional artists.

7. Catch 4-metre Tall Mickey & Friends at Gardens by the Bay

There are plenty of photo opportunities with the 4-metre tall displays featuring your favourite Disney characters inside the Floral Fantasy amidst whimsical floral installations and landscapes. The highlight centres around the Mickey – Year of the Tiger display where Mickey Mouse stands on a cliff of gold coins while holding up a baby tiger cub, symbolising a year of positive ambition and energy ahead.

The Mickey – Year of the Tiger display will be available for viewing at Joy of Festival Pop Up Store, located at Floral Fantasy Gift Shop, Gardens by the Bay. Visitors and collectors can purchase Joy of Festival 4” collectibles at the pop-up store from now to 23 February 2022.

Homegrown award-winning global design studio XM launches its new Mickey & Friends’ The Joy of Festival collectibles with a 4-metre tall statue display in Floral Fantasy at Gardens by The Bay to mark the celebration of spring and new beginnings!
